Charlotte’s Web is one of the most well-known names in the CBD industry, largely due to its highly-publicized role in providing medical cannabis to severely ill pediatric patients. This includes the company namesake, Charlotte Figi, a young Colorado girl who died in 2020 after a long struggle with Dravet syndrome.
The company initially gave away its CBD extract for free, and says that it “started as a mission to create a world where good health is attainable to all.”
Today the Boulder-based company has several hundred employees and provides a wide variety of CBD products, including oil, gummies, capsules, topical solutions, and pet CBD products.
