The Cannabis Research Center at the University of California, Berkely is a research center devoted to three areas affecting the world of cannabis – policy and land use, environment, and people and culture.
The CRC states that its goal is to promote interdisciplinary scholarship “on the social and environmental dimensions of cannabis production,” and to advance understanding of the impacts of cannabis agriculture.”
It also aspires to develop funding for cannabis research, foster opportunities for intellectual exchange in the field of cannabis agricultural studies, and produce public education initiatives related to cannabis research, including workshops, lectures, and panel discussions.
The CRC also hosts a collection of published research by its members on its website.
