Tikkun Olam

Tikkun Olam was a trailblazer in the medical marijuana industry and the overall world of cannabis in Israel.

Founded in 2005, the company started as a non-profit and was the first official grower licensed by the country’s Ministry of Health to provide medical marijuana to approved patients. It also opened and operates the country’s first marijuana dispensary storefront.

Most of the country’s signature cultivars are named after patients who have used their cannabis for treatment.

In 2010, Tikkun Olam became a limited company as in the years to come it expanded its growing, production, sales, and distribution offices as well as its cannabis research. The company drew heavy press coverage in 2012 when it successfully developed a strain of marijuana with almost no THC.

In 2018, the company secured a license to grow up to 100 acres of marijuana in Greece.
Today the company operates in several countries including Israel, Greece, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
